Titled Imagina Jiaxing, this work responds to the theme “Imagina” of the international poster exhibition. It reconstructs the scenery of Jiangnan water towns in Jiaxing with dot-matrix pixel graphics. The white walls and black tiles, ancient bridges and waterside dwellings are formed by dense and sparse black dots, accented with scattered colourful noise points. This modern graphic language interprets the ancient charm of water towns, blending traditional architectural imagery with contemporary graphic aesthetics to imagine an urban vision of Jiaxing.
