Zamość’s unique architecture and urban layout. The city’s name has been deconstructed and inscribed within geometric black blocks, which allude to the Renaissance-era buildings and street layout, as well as the concept of the ‘ideal city’. The stark, black typography is broken up by colourful squares and rectangles, which symbolise the vibrant, multicultural character of Zamość’s market square and its famous, colourful market-square tenement houses. The poster combines the city’s historical architectural identity with modern design in a minimalist way, encouraging the viewer to artistically ‘reimagine’ the urban space.
