This poster is inspired by Yiwu’s identity as a city of “small commodities, big world.” Barcodes, shipping marks, and global trade symbols are combined to form the two Chinese characters Yiwu.
Through this visual construction, the work reimagines Yiwu as the “world’s supermarket” and expresses the ongoing flow between commodities, trade, and the world.
